Terms of Service
Last updated: 7 July 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of bookclub.biz ("the Platform"), operated by D&H Publishing International ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms.
1. About the Platform
bookclub.biz is a "Book Club as a Service" platform that provides organisations ("Partners") with a curated book catalogue, subscription programmes, and related digital services which they may offer to their own members under their own brand.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to enter into a partnership, subscription, or commissioning agreement with us. Individuals under 18 may use member-facing services only with the involvement of a parent, guardian, or partner organisation.
3. Partner Agreements
Organisations that integrate our services ("Partners") do so under a separate partnership agreement covering commercial terms, revenue share, and branding rights. These Terms apply in addition to, and do not replace, any signed partnership agreement.
4. Subscriptions and Purchases
Subscription plans, Book of the Month selections, and individual book or chapter purchases are billed as described at the point of purchase. Prices are shown inclusive of applicable taxes where required. You may cancel a subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
5. Author Commissions
Authors who submit work for commissioning or apply to join our author roster retain ownership of their intellectual property unless otherwise agreed in a separate written contract. Acceptance onto the roster does not guarantee commission work.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on the Platform, including book descriptions, branding, GeoGuide narration, and software, is owned by D&H Publishing International or its licensors and may not be reproduced without permission.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the Platform, attempt to access it using a method other than the interface we provide, or use it for any unlawful purpose.
8. Limitation of Liability
The Platform is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, D&H Publishing International shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the Platform.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
10. Contact
